Air Canada Launches Calgary-Terrace Service Today

This morning’s departure of Air Canada flight AC8593 from Calgary marked the start of non-stop service to Terrace in northwestern BC.


“We are pleased to launch our newest non-stop service between Calgary and Terrace today,” said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines. “Air Canada continues to strategically add new services to meet demand and our new, non-stop flights connecting two resource and energy centers saves time and offers convenience to the Calgary andTerrace/Kitimat business markets. Customers also enjoy Aeroplan accumulation and redemption opportunities on all Air Canada flights.”


Daily Air Canada Express flights between Calgary and Terrace are operated by Jazz Aviation LP with 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jets:

AC8594 Terrace – 11:30 Calgary – 14:15 Daily

New routes launched to date this year in addition to today’s Calgary-Terrace include: Toronto-Atlantic City, Toronto-Austin, Montreal-Venice, Vancouver-Osaka, Vancouver-Comox, Calgary-Halifax and Calgary-Nanaimo. Upcoming new routes still to launch include: Toronto-Dubai, Toronto-Delhi, Toronto-Amsterdam, Toronto-Abbotsford andMontreal-Mexico City.
